This facility provides excellent food and housing in a secure surrounding. It encourages each individual to achieve self sufficiency and shows each individual dignity and respect.

This organization gave me plenty of opportunities to change my life. I utilized most of them to the best of my abilities and as much as possible. I recommend A Safe Haven to those who are really trying to turn their life around. This program only works if you are willing to put in the effort.

I've been to a safe haven and I can say that this is truly an amazing organization with a central heart to serve the homeless within Chicago. No other organization is so well equipped to not only feed the homeless, but also to take them in house them, feed them, encourage them and to educate them so that they can go out into the world and become a productive contributor to society. The Staff is incredibly professional and courteous. The facilities are clean and extremely well maintained. A safe haven is backed by not only the city, but some of the largest corporations in the city of Chicago.
